Indiana Economic Development Corporation Visits Decatur County for Business Tours

Greensburg, IN – The Greensburg/Decatur County Economic Development Corporation was pleased to welcome representatives from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) for a day of business visits and site tours in Greensburg.

“It’s always great to see the state putting in the effort to come visit and learn firsthand how to best support our businesses,” said Project Coordinator, Emma Luttel. “These visits not only highlight the strength of our local companies but also reinforce the importance of collaboration between state and local partners.”

The IEDC team joined the EDC on stops at two locally owned and growing businesses: Kova Fertilizer and Advanced Vacuum Services.

At Kova, the group met with Brad Reed, who shared the story of his family business, its deep community roots, and how the company has been able to continually expand and adapt to fill gaps in the agricultural market.

The tour continued at Advanced Vacuum Services, where owners Lilly and Bill Corya welcomed the group and provided an inside look at their operations while sharing more about their work and growth.

The visit reflects the continued partnership between the IEDC and local communities to support Indiana businesses, foster innovation, and drive economic growth across the state.
