Greensburg/Decatur County EDC Hosts Annual Meeting, Welcomes New Board Leadership

Greensburg, IN – The Greensburg/Decatur County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) hosted its Annual Meeting on July 10, 2025, bringing together community leaders, business partners, and stakeholders to celebrate progress and look ahead at the region’s economic future.

Executive Director Bryan Robbins shared highlights from the EDC’s 2024 accomplishments, while providing attendees with a deeper look into the day-to-day work of the organization. Robbins emphasized the importance of maintaining a diverse and resilient economy, and outlined four key strategic goals guiding the EDC’s efforts:

  • Improve, Preserve & Promote Assets
  • Build and Attract Human Capital
  • Maintain and Expand Infrastructure
  • Diversify the Community Economy

During the meeting, the EDC proudly presented its new board slate and welcomed Chris Bierhaus as the organization’s new Board President. Bierhaus succeeds Scott Wesseler, who has served with dedication and leadership over the past two years. Wesseler will continue to support the EDC in its mission.

Attendees also heard from guest speaker Campbell Ricci, with Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM), who provided important updates on state policy, including discussions on business personal property tax, local income tax, fire territories, and other issues that directly impact communities and economic development across Indiana.

The EDC extends special thanks to St. Paul Tavern for catering and to all who attended and continue to champion the mission of fostering economic growth in Greensburg and Decatur County.
