Stellar Team Highlights Collaboration and Community Progress at Main Street Greensburg’s Community Exchange

Greensburg, IN – Members of Decatur County’s Stellar Team spoke on a panel at Main Street Greensburg’s Community Exchange this week, sharing insights on the power of collaboration and the impact of joint community development efforts.

The Stellar Team – comprised of the Greensburg/Decatur County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Greensburg, City of Greensburg and Mayor Joshua Marsh, Visit Greensburg, Decatur County Community Foundation, and Decatur County Parks and Recreation Department – discussed the ongoing projects and partnerships that continue to shape the future of Decatur County.

During the discussion, team members refl ected on several recent and upcoming initiatives that have enhanced local quality of life, including Pirate Park, the Rebecca Park Splash Pad, and the Greensburg Outdoor Amphitheatre. These projects, among others, demonstrate how local collaboration can drive meaningful change and investment in the community.

“Each organization brings something different to the table,” said Bryan Robbins, Executive Director of the Greensburg/Decatur County EDC. “When we come together with a shared goal, we’re able to accomplish so much more for our residents and for future generations.”

Allison Beck, Director of Main Street Greensburg, shared a quote that captured the spirit of the event:

The Community Exchange served as a platform for open dialogue and collaboration between other communities; and highlighting the progress Decatur County has made and the shared vision driving it forward.

“Events like this remind us that progress isn’t built by one group or one project,” said Robbins. “It’s built through partnerships, shared passion, and a commitment to making Decatur County a great place to live, work, and thrive.”
