Eureka Winning Ways, Purdue TAP Programs, IEDC Update

Businesses in Southern Indiana have a program available to them to help them produce real, productive ideas for growth.  Rich Meyer, business growth service leader through Purdue University, introduced Eureka Winning Ways to a roomful of interested business owners.  Mr. Meyer gave an informative and motivating presentation of a program designed to be 88% reliable at selecting a company’s best ideas to market and create growth.

Denise Knueven, Account Manager of Purdue’s Technical Assistance Program, gave a summary of the types of assistance available to employers.  For example, programs exist to help companies successfully train their employees.  Ms. Knueven handed out packets of information about Purdue TAP and its programs.

Wanda Heath, Project Manager of IEDC-Southeast Region, spoke of the new jobs being created each year in Indiana.  She referred to studies from the Center for Automotive Research that show the number of jobs in the automotive industry steadily increasing over the next few years.  Ms. Heath also gave each business owner in the room information on available incentives, tax credits, and development funds.
